Saunders-Ellison Duo - Authentic Live Blues, Jazz & R&B
Nightjar Shoreditch, Nightjar, EC1V 1JB , [Venue Details]Pete Ellison and Pete Saunders share more than a first name. They both love the sound of vintage R’n’B and jazz – the sound that filled the smokey bars of Soho in its heyday. Together they weave blue note magic.
Pete Ellison (Vocals and guitar) has played in various bands over the years, including twenty years with The Untouchables, one of London’s premier blues bands and culminating in The Four Flames, his latest project with Pete Saunders, Pete Pritchard and Eddie ‘The Legend (and not Pete)’ Buckland.
Pete Saunders (keyboards and vocals) is also a seasoned musician, having played in Dexy’s Midnight Runners amongst others. He currentlywows cabaret audiences as part of Blues and Burlesque (I’ll leave you to guess which part).
